Getting here

Getting to Punga Cove is easy – by boat from Picton, by foot or mountain bike on the Queen Charlotte Track, by helicopter from anywhere, or by scenic drive on Kenepuru Road.

The Queen Charlotte Track passes directly through lodge, and we are a popular overnight or lunch stop for walkers and mountain bikers.

To get here by boat from Picton, book your transfer on a Cougar Line scheduled sailing or by direct water taxi transfer. The scenic journey through Queen Charlotte Sound/Tōtaranui takes about an hour.

To reach us by road, turn onto Kenepuru Road from Queen Charlotte Drive at Linkwater. Note the road is very windy, and the last few kilometres are unsealed.

The Kenepuru Road to Punga Cove is currently closed as at 02/08/21, due to the recent rainfall.

If you are coming by private boat, we can arrange moorings and tender transfers by request – please contact us.
