Our Location is beautifully remote
While Punga Cove is accessible by scenic road, we highly recommend water taxi services departing from Picton. If you choose to drive to Punga Cove Resort, we are a two hour scenic drive along a winding country road – two hours from Picton or Havelock. The road is sealed except for the last five kilometres. As we are in a very remote location, it is essential to plan to arrive by 5.00pm. A small shop is available for items you might need and gifts to take home.

We are open all year round. Our off-peak period is May-Oct, our peak season is Nov-Apr, with our premium season 22 December to 10 January over our Christmas/New Year period.
